Supported in installing the UK’s first testing Mega lab – the Rosalind Franklin laboratory in Royal Leamington Spa has opened and will be processing hundreds of thousands of COVID-19 samples every day to rapidly detect new variants and help stop the spread of the virus, while bringing jobs to the local area.

HEI installed and organised a sophisticated cabling system to power and connect the Mega Lab's complex equipment, guaranteeing both peak performance and a secure environment.
Safety
High-end backup generators were installed at the Mega Lab to mitigate the risk of power outages, which could potentially delay critical COVID vaccine research and development processes.
