Project Background

The project involved comprehensive internal building upgrades, encompassing both electrical and mechanical systems. This included, but was not limited to, the installation and modification of electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, power outlets, and control panels. Mechanical system upgrades encompassed the installation, repair, or replacement of HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and fire protection equipment.

Environment Enhancement

HEI's state-of-the-art cabling solution, meticulously designed for irregularly shaped rooms, optimises efficiency and prioritises student safety. This innovative approach ensures seamless connectivity while minimising trip hazards and potential electrical risks, creating a secure and conducive learning environment.

Modern Cabling

High-grade cabling was installed throughout the facility. The Control Room, in particular, was equipped with cutting-edge wiring and soundproofing solutions, as specified by recording studio consultants.

Project Lessons

The Jupiter Laboratory in Leamington Spa is a significant asset to the UK’s healthcare landscape. The Mega Lab, a hub of cutting-edge research, is designed to address critical health challenges, including COVID-19. HEI has implemented state-of-the-art technology to help deliver sustainable and high-quality healthcare solutions.

Conclusion

Working with Mercury Construction South West Ltd, Zumbotel Group, Electrak International Limited, University of Plymouth and Daikin Europe we completed this upgrade in great time and within budget as planned.
